Russell's class went to the Jackson dairy farm on a field trip. They had a blast. They got to watch the cows being milked, look in the big tank at the cold milk, feed the baby cows with big bottles, go on a hayride, climb on tractors and then cool off with ice cream sandwiches. Ed and Debbie Jackson did such a great job with the kids. I thought our group was large for them, but they said on Friday, they were having 160 China Spring kindergarteners. Wow!

The kids loved feeding the babies. We have baby cows, but ours aren't near as cute as these, I guess it's the different colors that make them so cute!
Russell posing by the tractor. I let him wear his cowboy boots with shorts for the field trip. He got a lot of compliments. This is his cowboy stance, with his legs crossed and the leaning pose. ha! Not sure where he learned it, but he usually has his cowboy hat on too and he tips it forward on his head when he does this and says "this is how a cowboy sleeps".
