Here is our new puppy, Callie. She is a pocket beagle. We drove today to pick her up with my dad and the kids. It was a great trip. The kids love her....I'm having to teach them to give her some space.
We had a great Easter. We had Blake's sister and her family staying with us for a few days so we had a good visit with them. On Saturday, all of the family came over for a BBQ dinner and egg hunt. Thankfully the rain held off until we were finished.

This was Sydney's Easter attire: a princess dress
and her purse, which she never set down.

Here is my garden, doesn't look like much I know. lol But hopefully it will soon when everything shoots up. Thanks to my wonderful husband for building it for me.
I heard giggling in Sydney's room and she was dressing up Russell and they came running to me laughing so hard they could barely catch their breath. Thanks Melissa for the dress up clothes!
My baby boy started t-ball. It has been interesting. His first game, he cried because I wouldn't stand on the field with him. He did better the second game and had a blast. He loves that everyone comes and watches him. His first bat, he ran from first base to the pitchers mound and then from third base started heading to the dugout. ha! Then when he was on the field, he found a beetle in the dirt so played with it while all of his teammates fought over every ball. He was mad because there weren't any balls coming to him, so right when he got dirt in his eyes, a ball passed right by him. Oh the joys of t-ball!
Sydney had her first dentist appointment this week. It went well until she had to lay back in the chair for the dentist to look at her teeth and then she started crying and I had to hold her down. Not fun! He said her teeth were exceptionally clean and everything looked great. I was relieved to know that her sucking her fingers (she does this when she's tired) hasn't affected her teeth. He said it most likely wouldn't since she doesn't do it all the time. Here are a couple of pics of her and Russell in the room waiting on the dentist. Russell was playing the dentist and was counting Sydney's teeth. ha!
Ok, so everyone has been telling me I need to start a blog, so here it goes...
I've been so bad about taking lots of pics of the kids, now with 2, it seems it gets harder even though they are now 3 and 4. So hopefully this will get me back in the swing of it. Hope you all enjoy a glimpse into our lives. :)
